Last week, we kicked off our fall 2025 conference schedule with a trip to Palm Springs for the CASE (California Association of Science Educators) conference! Flying in Wednesday afternoon gave us time to adjust to the time difference and gave us a little time to squeeze in some fun things. Having lunch at Sherman’s is now an EDVOTEK tradition and we were also able to take a quick trip to the Palm Springs Art Museum and stroll the main street enjoying the sunshine before our early 7PM bedtime (don’t laugh, we were on East Coast time!).
Friday was off to a fast start with the opening of the Exhibit Hall and our first workshop, “Follow That Flush: Using Biotechnology for Early Disease Detection“. Saturday was also busy with our 2nd workshop, “Cancer Investigators: Biomedical Science In Your Classroom.” Many giveaways, including our DuraGels, Biotech A-Z Poster, Water Bath Floats, and Drink Coozies were a huge hit with attendees.
We had a wonderful time and met many engaging educators in our two days at the show. Thank you to everyone who attended one of our workshops or stopped by Booth #316 to say hi! Looking forward to 2026, we hope to see you all again in Sacramento!
