Summer Reading: Science Edition

Summer means sleeping in, beach trips, and relaxation. For me that means that I get to tackle my reading list! Here are 5 books to add to your reading list this summer!

A fun book, especially for children, that stories 50 of the most prominent and impactful Women in science throughout history.

Viruses: A Very Short Introduction by Dorothy H. Crawford

A great introduction into the topic of viruses. With the pandemic feeling further and further out of our lives, we can’t forget the great impact that viruses have on the health of human kind.

A PhD is not Enough!: A Guide to Survival in Science by Peter J. Feibelman

While not the most fun read on this list, it is an important one for those of you pursuing a career in science. The scientific area route is vast and this book is a great introduction for soon-to-be graduates!
