Last week, we headed west to the Colorado Convention Center in Denver for the first time in years (hi, Big Blue Bear!). It was busy and exhausting with early mornings and long days, but we enjoyed the beautiful weather, great food, and the enthusiastic educators we met each day! It was even warmer in Denver than it was in DC which was a pleasant surprise.
This year, we hosted seven different workshops, ranging from a Forensics Escape Rooom to C. elegans and raffled off several EDGE™ Integrated Electrophoresis Systems.
- Forensic Escape Room: Design Your Own Biotech Adventure
- Code Breakers: Using CRISPR to Rewrite Genetics
- The Sweet Laboratory: Exploring Food Science with Biotechnology
- Put the M into STEM: Quantitative Techniques for Biotechnology
- Heavy Metal: Investigating the Effects of Environmental Toxins on C. elegans
- Introducing Your Students to CRISPR with Sickle Cell Gene Editing
- Lion Family Reunion: Conservation Biology Genetics
Thank you to everyone who attended one of our workshops on Thursday, March 21st & Friday, March 22nd or stopped by Booth #624 to say hi and we hope to see you again in New Orleans in the fall!
